The Quote ‘Heaven Helps Those Who Help Themselves’ Doesn’t Make Sense To Me”-Kidi Reveals

Most Christian believers are used to so many quotes which they use to strengthen and validate their faith in Christ Jesus. Some believe that there are some steps a Christian needs to follow in order to attract the blessings of their Maker.

A popular quote like “Heaven helps those who helps themselves” is commonly used by Christian. This is to charge them to make efforts in their lives before God swoops in with their blessing to better their lives. However, this quote is not in the Bible.

Ghanaian musician, Kidi speaking in an interview with PulseGhana stated that this particular quote sounds ridiculous and futile.

According to him, it makes no sense that God will have to wait for him to help himself before he helps him. He added that he is already helpless so it will be reasonable for the blessings to come into his life immediately than wait until he’s got something going on for himself.

In other news, Ghanaian media personality, Deloris Frimpong Manso, widely known as Delay has addressed that most women have more respect for their pastors than their husbands.

In a tweet, the outstanding media icon stated that marriages will be much easy and more lasting if women accord their husbands the same respect they have for their pastors.

This particular assertion made by Delay happens to be very accurate on the account that most women will bow to the will of their pastors and obey their every command, yet come home to disrespect their husbands.

Perhaps, Delay has rectified one of the main causes of separations in marriages and advises married women to accord their husbands the same respect and humility they have for their pastors.
